You can start bringing your pup in to be introduced to the grooming process at 10 weeks old or two weeks after they have had their second vaccinations!
The Puppy Package and Fresh and Fancy add on are services we offer to dogs that are 6 months or younger. These packages are to introduce, and help your pet get more comfortable with, the grooming process. When they are younger, they are more resilient and tolerant to new situations. The sooner they are exposed to the various sensations, noises, scents, and processes of dog grooming, the quicker they will understand and adapt to the experience and find it less intimidating or daunting in the future. We recommend bringing them back every 2 to 4 weeks.

It generally takes two to three sessions for a pup to become totally acclimated to and comfortable with the grooming process. Starting slowly will enable a groomer to build up to a full cut and other more elaborate services.
Generally, between 6 and 9 months a puppy goes through a coat change. Their super soft, thinner, fluffy, easy to care for puppy coat will transition into the thicker, longer adult coat. Coat texture and color may change as well. During the coat change, your pup's coat becomes extremely prone to knots and mats. Introducing a puppy to grooming at a young age when everything's new, and before the coat is knotted or matted, is recommended.
