Not only dogs, but cats too can benefit from grooming!
Cats sometimes need a little help to keep healthy. Mats block circulation to the skin causing discomfort, dry and flaky skin, and irritation. A tangle/mat free cat is a happy cat.
Brushing not only removes dirt, grease, dead hair and skin, but stimulates and improves circulation and spreads healthy oils throughout their coat, keeping the skin and fur healthy.
Cats find grooming stressful. Even the most complacent cat can become aggressive when the groomer is taking too long. So when they're at their limit (when their “turkey timer” goes off) they’re done.
Although we do our best to keep accidents from happening, they do happen. Cats' skin is thinner and more flexible which makes them more susceptible to nicks and cuts.
